The Ultimate Guide to Tree Seed Collection in Ontario

Your Gateway to Seed Collection Success in Ontario

Seeds of Ontario Trees & Strubs

For over two decades, we’ve been providing comprehensive and unique  training to seed collectors using a series of manuals. These manuals cover a range of topics, from cone crop collection, seed biology, and quality to detailed written descriptions of cones, seeds, and their yields. We’ve even printed pages to aid in assessing the scale of a potential seed crop!

With all these manuals, books and handouts in tow, we traveled across the province teaching individuals and organizations about the business of tree seed forecasting and collection. It finally became clear to us that we needed a consolidated resource to streamline this wealth of information — introducing the “Seeds of Ontario Trees and Shrubs: Field Manual for Crop Forecasting and Collecting.”
